I came to know Grace through the wonderful Adopt a Blogger program. Adopt A Blogger is a site/program created by the incredibly creative Kristen of Dine and Dish. Kristen saw a need for new and emerging bloggers to learn from those who have already established themselves within the community. I first heard of Adopt a Blogger though Kristen's food blog Dine and Dish. I automatically knew that this was something the I would love to participate in.
Grace was kind enough to adopt me after reading my answer form on the site. Pretty soon after that Grace and I started emailing each other discussing a lot of different topics pertaining to blogging. Grace works for Lijit, a company that assists bloggers in all aspects of the blogging process. In addition to working with bloggers as her day job, Grace also has her own personal blog and another dedicated to food.
I have already learned so much from Grace, who has been blogging for well over two years. I look forward to reading her emails and having our weekly conversations. Grace has taught me that it is key to create your own identity within the community, to try new things and join other blogging groups and networks.
I am so excited to continue working and talking with her over the next couple of weeks. We have some very exciting things planned so please check back often for updates.
And thank YOU Grace for taking the time to help a fellow blogger out. I have a feeling that Grace and I will still be talking & sharing ideas long after Adopt A Blogger.
