Southern Hospitality at The Governor's House Inn

7/25/12

The Governor's House Inn in Charleston, South Carolina is truly one of a kind.
Filled with antiques and southern hospitality, the inn is actually a National Historic Landmark due to the fact that it was once the residence of Edward Rutledge - the youngest signer of the Declaration Of Independence.

From it's gorgeous sweeping front porch and friendly staff, to convenient location on Broad Street, the Governor's House Inn offers something for everyone.
We especially enjoyed the taking out the bikes that are complimentary to guests. They were great for exploring the idyllic streets south of Broad Street to all along the Battery Promenade.

We will remember our stay at The Governor's House Inn forever and are already planning a trip back soon.

PS. Did I mention it is a Bed & Breakfast?  I looked forward to the delicious gourmet breakfast enjoyed on the beautiful porch every morning!
