Market to market

8/21/12

St. Jacobs, Ontario is a lovely town about two hours west of Toronto.
Best know for it's world famous market, St. Jacobs is also home to both an Amish & Mennonite community.
The market is full of local produce, meat and fresh flowers. Everything is based on seasonal availability and picked that week. Another draw to the market has to be the food trucks and vendors - think everything from Canadian back bacon on a bun to perogies!
I can't wait to go back to see what seasonal specialties Fall brings to the market.
