Manteo is a small town along the coast of North Carolina.
We actually had the pleasure of making this our home base while we exlplored the lighthouses and beaches of The Outer Banks.
I just loved this charming and idyllic town. It has something for everyone - excellent shops and restaurants as well as a slower pace of life.
We stayed in a beautiful bed & breakfast called The Cameron House Inn, which we highly recommend.
I can't wait to go back.
